The Cherokee County Sports Hall of Fame was started in 2004, with the first class of inductees being 2005. The CCSHofF began when Jo Jo Odam and Shane Browder saw the need to recognize former athletes and coaches who have achieved greatness in sports and life. The Cherokee County Sports Hall of Fame is a non-profit organization. Jo Jo Odam is the director and president.
