After having an outstanding career at Sand Rock High School, Wendall Lawson later returned to his alma mater to coach. Coach Lawson guided the Wildcats to a new level in girls’ basketball. Over his tenure, he coached teams that won numerous county championships and area titles and guided the program all the way to the Final Four.
