Class of 2011 Cherokee County Sports Hall of Fame. Jeff was a 1st team All State player at Gaylesville High School in 1980 as well as All Area, and All County. Jeff was also excelled on the basketball court, where he received All County awards in 1979 & 1980, and All Area in 1980. Jeff signed a football scholarship with Jacksonville State University where he was a three year starter at tight end. A member of the 1982 Gulf South Conference championship team, Jeff was named All GSC Tight End in 1985. Jeff later became head coach at Cedar Bluff, Cherokee County, and Childersburg High Schools.
